Hanoi strives to increase its export turnover by 7.5% -8% in 2019 from a year earlier to about US$15.35 billion.
In order to gain the above-mentioned target, the city’s authority will continue to boost administrative reforms, with a focus on the application of information technology in handling administrative procedures.
Besides, Hanoi will develop mechanisms and policies to bolster production and export, exercise monetary policy under the guidance of the Vietnamese government and central agencies, improve competitiveness for businesses and manufacturers, balance the labor supply - demand, and prepare the stock of manpower meeting exporters’ demands.
Moreover, the city will strengthen investment attraction in infrastructure development and services for export business activities, improve the effectiveness of trade and investment promotion programs.
The city’s exporters are requested to actively improve their product quality and competitiveness, create brand and conduct training or participate in training courses held by the city’s departments to better human resources’ qualifications to meet the increasing requirements of international economic integration process.
