This partnership is expected to encompass the latest innovations in human-machine interfaces, bringing high-tech and high-quality products to vehicle manufacturers and consumers worldwide.

Nippon Seiki, a global tier-1 supplier of meters and head-up displays with a global market share of nearly 50%, faces increasing market demands and a global shortage of automotive software engineers. To meet Nippon Seiki's needs, the Vietnamese company will build a team of hundreds of highly skilled software engineers by 2025 and double this workforce by 2027.

In the first phase of this collaboration, FPT Software will develop platforms and applications for Nippon Seiki's motorcycle meters, leveraging its extensive expertise in software development and the automotive industry.

Working with FPT Software will also allow Nippon Seiki to rely on a trusted, experienced partner for software while focusing on its core hardware development.

Before this collaboration, FPT Software had already worked with Nippon Seiki's subsidiaries on several unit testing projects, demonstrating its exceptional delivery results and expertise.

"This partnership with Nippon Seiki is of great significance to us and opens up the next chapter for both companies in the future. We are committed to devoting our best resources to this project to achieve good results for Nippon Seiki," said Chu Thi Thanh Ha, Chairwoman of FPT Software.

Nagano Keiichi, Head of Nippon Seiki's Automotive Design Headquarters, said: "By integrating FPT Software's capabilities, we look forward to achieving faster and more significant improvements to benefit our customers worldwide."

FPT Software's partnership with Nippon Seiki would help the former expands its Japanese customer base. Nippon Seiki has 18 years of experience in Japan, with 16 offices and nearly 15,000 employees worldwide. They've also opened innovation and mobility hubs to supplement the market with engineers.
