Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Doan Toan signed a plan to organize 64 spring flower markets on the ocassion of the Lunar New Year of 2019 in the city.
Accordingly, spring flower markets aim to serve shopping, sightseeing and entertainment of Hanoi’s residents and tourists.
Spring flower markets will be held in locations which are approved by the Hanoi People's Committee and ensure the requirements of security, traffic safety, fire protection and environmental sanitation.
The plan also stated that the 64 spring flower markets for Lunar New Year of 2019 in the city will be held from January 15 (day 10 of the 12th month of 2018 lunar calendar) to 8:00pm on February 4 (day 30 of the 12th month of 2018 lunar calendar).

Traffic inspectors are requested to coordinate with the Hanoi police to develop a plan for traffic flow, ensure order and security and prevent traffic congestion in the spring flower market areas.
Hanoi’s Departments of Construction, Natural Resources and Environment will work with the People's Committees of districts and towns to ensure street lighting and waste collection in the spring flower markets.
