The chairwoman of the Hanoi People`s Council reiterated that the city is keen on promoting cooperation with London in important fields such as smart city building, organization of investment promotion conferences, highly-qualified human resources training, and promotion of English teaching and learning in Hanoi.
Hanoi wants to promote cooperation with London in various fields, Vice Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said at the meeting with member of the UK House of Lords Edward Vaizey, special envoy of the British prime minister, in the framework of Hanoi delegation's working visit to Ireland and the United Kingdom between May 2 and 12.

The chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council reiterated that the city is keen on promoting cooperation with London in important fields such as smart city building, organization of investment promotion conferences, training of highly qualified human resources, and English teaching and learning in Hanoi.
Ngoc hoped that Edward Vaizey will act as a bridge to promote more effectively cooperation activities between the UK and Vietnam in general, between London and Hanoi in particular, especially improving education quality.
Working with Pacific Land Group’s chairman
Working with Chairman of the Pacific Land Group Patrick McKillen on cooperation to attract British investment into Hanoi, Ngoc expected that he will keep contributing to Hanoi's development.

He mentioned difficulties related to investment procedures in Hanoi and referred to three on-going projects in Hanoi, especially Pacific Land Group’s Biotechnology High-Tech Park (Habotech) project.
Patrick McKillen hoped that after the meeting with Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, his group will be facilitated to accelerate progress of the projects executed in Hanoi.
Ngoc acknowledged the feedback of the chairman and promised that she will consider and ask Hanoi's authority to remove difficulties for the group, so that the projects can be smoothly implemented, contributing to the capital's economic development.
