“This was the 12th consecutive year Hanoi has honoured its outstanding graduates”, Pham Quang Nghi, Politburo member and secretary of Hanoi City said.
A ceremony was held at Ly Thai To statue on August 24, honouring 132 outstanding graduates from universities and institutes in Hanoi.
Among the 132 graduates honoured were 37 males and 95 females; 56 of them are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Nghi said that graduates needed to be care, and also asked committees, agencies to continue creating conditions for graduates to study further.
Therefore, all of them can contribute to building of a more beautiful, modern and civilized capital and nation.
