These are part of the plan to open 30-40 OCOP retailing points of the Hanoi People's Committee this year. Among these, each district or and town has at least two points to introduce and sell OCOP products or more.

The showrooms display and sell the city's OCOP products including aromatic rice of Tam Hung Cooperative in Thanh Oai District, turmeric starch from Ba Be maker in Gia Lam District as well as regional specialties such as honey from the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang, oyster sauce from the northern province of Quang Ninh, turmeric starch from the northern province of Hung Yen.

Standing Vice Chairman of Hoan Kiem District People's Committee Nguyen Anh Quan said, over the past time, the district has actively coordinated with departments and agencies in organizing trade fairs to promote OCOP products in the locality.

In Dong Da District, five OCOP products have been certified after two years of building and developing the program. The district's authority will coordinate with the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade to develop two more retailing points to introduce and sell OCOP products in the locality next year.

Vice-Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Da District, Ha Anh Tuan, said that the district is also calling for more OCOP businesses here to take part in promoting the sale of OCOP products.

Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Acting Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, said that her agency in cooperation with the People's Committees of districts, towns to review, selects 15 suitable locations to accommodate new showrooms for OCOP products this year.
