The UNESCO Association of Hanoi in 2023 has positively contributed to people-to-people exchanges and friendship activities in the capital.
UNESCO Association of Hanoi will this year continue to promote the capital's image to the world, strengthen cooperation in cultural heritage, and organize many activities on special anniversaries.
This is one of the goals set at a conference held earlier this week to summarize the work in 2023 and define the tasks of the UNESCO Hanoi Association in 2024.

Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations Tran Thi Phuong acknowledged the responsibility and achievements of the UNESCO Association of Hanoi in the past year.
Phuong also expressed her expectation that the association will continue to promote its role, promote the cultural quintessence of the capital and the country with international friends, and actively contribute to external affairs and people-to-people exchange of the capital.
Phuong remarked that the UNESCO Association of Hanoi and its member clubs have effectively implemented many people-to-people exchange and foreign affairs activities. The programs all leave a good impression in the hearts of international friends and have the power to spread to the people of the capital.

Many units under the association are at the core of the mass art movement, participating in performances at many events in the capital and localities across the country, thereby contributing to affirming the position of the association to spread cultural values to all classes of people and international friends.
UNESCO Association of Hanoi also gradually linked activities with the culture and sports industry in managing, preserving and promoting the value of the capital's cultural heritage, thereby contributing to Hanoi's Creative City program and implementing the Hanoi Party Committee's resolution on cultural industry.
Accordingly, the UNESCO Association of Hanoi has participated in many outstanding activities, such as participating in the Creative Cities Network Forum Conference of UNESCO, co-organizing cultural events to mark the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam-South Korea, the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam-Japan, introducing performing arts at the Hanoi Old Quarter.
