The world`s a spectacular place, full of hidden and overt beauty in every corner.
Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam has been named among the 25 most beautiful places around the world to celebrate the Earth Day, according to CNN, a US news-based cable and satellite television channel.
Its enduring popularity has made Ha Long Bay one of the hottest natural attractions in Southeast Asia. But that doesn't stop it from being the most beautiful place in Vietnam. With 1,969 islets of hulking limestone and deep, green waters that are home to myriad floating villages, this is a place where time slows to a standstill, CNN wrote.
CNN advises travelers that sail on a junk boat or pick up a kayak, and get lost in the quieter reaches of this vast and fascinating corner of the South China Sea, which is also known as the East Sea in Vietnam.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda tops the list, followed by Samburu in Kenya, Mount Toubkal in Morocco, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China, Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, El Nido in the Philippines, Rotorua in New Zealand, etc.
Earlier, Ha Long Bay in Vietnam has been named among 35 of the most beautiful natural wonders around the world, according to a list released by Business Insider, an American financial and business news website published by Insider Inc.
Ha Long Bay’s natural beauty makes it one of Vietnam’s top tourist attractions. The bay is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Business Insider recommends the best way to see Ha Long’s awe-inspiring limestone towers is by boat. In fact, many tourists stay overnight on a boat in the bay.
In 2018, the province hosted the National Tourism Year under the theme “Ha Long – Heritage, Wonder, Friendly Destination”. It welcomed a record of over 12 million tourists, up 24% year-on-year, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.
