The event aims to honor and introduce Hanoi cuisine culture to local and foreign visitors.
The 2018 Hanoi Cuisine Culture Festival will take place from October 5 to 7 at the Thong Nhat park, as part of activities to celebrate the 64th anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day and 1,008 years of Thang Long-Hanoi.
The highlight of the 2018 Hanoi Cuisine Culture Festival is the food, one of the most interesting things when visitors come to this millennial city. Accordingly, many kinds of traditional and typical food of Hanoi will be introduced at the event. They include pho, vermicelli, com (green sticky rice), xoi (steamed sticky rice), gio cha (steamed ground meat), etc.
Cuisine and cuisine culture has become a singularity of Hanoi that makes this millennium-aged city stand out in the national and international tourism map.
During the festival, there will be an exhibition area that features the elegant style of the Hanoians in enjoying the cuisine. In addition, visitors will be able to exchange ideas and taste Hanoi cuisine with artisans, researchers in Hanoi, as well as join a number of traditional arts and games.

The number of foreign tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 2.44 million in the first seven months of 2018, a year-on-year rise of 20.5%, according to the Hanoi Department of Tourism.
From now until the end of 2018, the department will attend many on tourism to project the appeal of the city. Notably, Hanoi will host the 16th annual meeting of the Council for Promoting Tourism in Asia (CPTA) from September 5 to 10.
