In addition, the event aims to foster professional development and exchange of ideas among specialists in the hospitality industry, the specialized tea retail/wholesale and processing. It also targets raising the status of tea culture among consumers.
According to the organizing board, all tea masters compete in this category must demonstrate the skill of tea preparation, tea pairing, tea mixology and tea tasting.
Created in Russia in 2013, the Tea Masters Cup International has been changing the game of tea professionals– putting them to the test and creating an international tea community where individuals can learn about a variety of tea traditions. This is the first time Vietnam organized the event. The Tea Masters Cup International has been organized in Istanbul (Turkey), Seoul (South Korea), among other countries.
