Art Fest for Foreigners in Da Nang to celebrate Christmas

The event is among the activities to celebrate Christmas and welcome New Year 2019 in Da Nang.

To be held between December 8 and 9, the Art Fest for Foreigners festival is an opportunity for citizens from countries which have cooperative relations with Da Nang to promote their art and culture.

It is also expected to help strengthen the friendship among expat communities in the city as well as between them and Da Nang’s people.

Foreigners working in many fields, mostly NGOs and enterprises and foreigners based in Hoi An and Hue are encouraged to take part in the festival where they will sell their traditional handicrafts and stage art performances.
A music festival title “Always listen, always for you” will be held in the March 29 Square on December 14 with the participation of famous artists. In addition, a countdown party will be held on the midnight December 31 in the same venue. Local and foreign visitors will have a chance to enjoy a fireworks display near the Han River.
Da Nang city has been ranked 6th among the best travel destinations and trends in the world for 2019, according to a list released by Finder, an Australian travel website.
You can say “goodbye” to Ho Chi Minh City and hello to Da Nang, wrote Finder. Located in Vietnam’s north, low-cost carriers like AirAsia and Jetstar can get you there on the cheap, and from this city, it’s an hour’s drive to Hoi An, a beautiful town well-worth your time, according to the website.
“It might be the call of an alternate city or it might be the cheap flights – either way, Skyscanner has seen a 23% increase in searches for trips from Australia to Da Nang between 2017 and 2018. That’s saying something,” Finder wrote.
