Monsoon Music Festival to return to Hanoi this November

The Hanoi People’s Committee has approved permission for the Monsoon Music Festival (MMF) to be held at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long until 2020.

The 2019 MMF, one of the largest music event in Vietnam, is scheduled to come back to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi from November 1 to 3, VnExpress reported, citing to Quoc Trung, a music producer who is also the founder of the MMF and head of the organizing board at a press conference on May 28.

The MMF will return to Hanoi after almost two-year hiatus. The Vietnamese composer noted that the first warm-up event for the festival will be held at Hoan Kiem Walking street and the three main days being held at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.
This year’s festival will feature a lineup of both Vietnamese and international artists. A highlight of this year’s event will be the ticket price discounts for those who attended previous versions of the MMF . Moreover, MMF will become the first music festival in Vietnam that will purchase insurance for both organizers and the audience.
As an annual music event held since 2014, MMF is an ideal destination for music lovers and the those interested in culture and arts. It has become an integral item on the schedules of music lovers in Hanoi.
