The 2nd Food Fest 2017 is set to transpire on December 8 - 10 in Ho Chi Minh City where guests can indulge their palates with as many as 1,500 types of food and drinks prepared by leading cuisine experts.

The first event of its kind was held at the Royal City Mall in Hanoi in April this year, offering an opportunity to guests to savour 1,000 Vietnamese and foreign delicacies, and diverse beverages from almost 300 domestic and foreign brands.
In addition, the Food Fest 2017 was be held on the first time in Royal City, Hanoi from April 7 to 9. On this occasion, foodies have chance to satisfy their taste with over 1,000 dishes. The three-day festival, sponsored by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), include several gastronomy events as well performances by Vietnamese A-listed singers.
More than 150 food stalls will be set up on the 3,000m2 area of the Royal City Square, showcasing the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine with more than 1,000 dishes and 200 kinds of drink.
Speaking at the ceremony, CEO of Viet Management Consulting Group (VMCG) Trinh Minh Giang said, according to CNN, Vietnam is one of 10 countries have a famous cuisine paradise in the world. This is the first time, Food Fest take place in Hanoi with many exciting activities of food competitions, games and musical performances.
Many of Vietnam’s famous artists perform at the Food Fest 2017. Those figures include Vietnam Idol 2014, Nhat Thuy, Vietnam Idol 2015 Trong Hieu, Vietnam Idol 2016 Janice Phuong, the heartthrob singers Noo Phuoc Thinh and Son Tung M-TP.
