Vietnam Airlines will change the selection of snacks twice a month, providing frequent fliers with a wealth of options. Snacks will be packed in branded packaging; each meal consists of two packs of light snacks weighing about 40 - 60g.
New snacks will be served for mid-meals on flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, 13:00 to 17:00, 20:00 to 05:00) and between Hanoi and Phu Quoc/ Can Tho/ Nha Trang/ Da Lat/ Buon Me Thuot/ Quy Nhon/ Tuy Hoa/ Pleiku; between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong/ Vinh/ Thanh Hoa. Especially on the Ha Noi - Ho Chi Minh City route, passengers in Economy will be served hot stuffed meat sandwich for breakfast and hot meals for lunch and dinner.
The new in-flight snacks will also be available in Economy on short-haul flights between Luang Prabang (Laos) and Siem Riep (Cambodia). Snacks are generally served on short flights when there is not enough time for hot meals, or during mid-hours and main meals like breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Many airlines in the world, such as Delta Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Air France, Japan Airlines, and Korean Air, also use packaged dry snacks because these are convenient and can be changed frequently to meet passengers' needs.
